I had my surgery almost a year ago and I have been very fortunate. I have experienced few problems. My worst ongoing one in chapped/cracked lips (called angular chelitis). The internet says this is a common symptom in GBP patients, even though my doctor acts like he has not seen it. I tried B-12 supplements and had some improvement, but am now taking Albee C - a combination of vitamins B and C. I definately feel better! I wanted to share this in case anyone else suffers from the same problem. Also, Aquafor is a great ointment to put on your lips! If anyone has any other suggestions, please share them too!
