I was curious if anyone's surgeon said anything about drinking with a straw. I was told not to by my sugeon's office because it can get too much air into the pouch taking up space and causing gas. I really love drinking from a straw because I drink a little faster (I'm able to take pretty large drinks now compared to the tiny sips I started with). I don't want to do a straw yet until I know other's experiences or recommendations from their surgeon's offices before I really do it. I know it's not that hard to pick up a cup and drink, but I haven't yet met 8 cups of fluid a day because I just can't seem to drink fast enough or something. I dunno. I found things that sit well as far as taste goes. Just wondering what others think on this one.
