I had to take my friend to the doctor yesterday, which is my doctor too. I decided to step on the scales and to see how much I weighed. I have to say unoffical weight, because my appointment is not until next week. LOL
So I got on the scales and as the unoffical weight total for me is 81 pounds!! My surgery was 8 weeks ago today.
I have to throw this wow moment too. My friend and I went to the mall today. She was in one of those battery operated chairs because she has a bad knee and needs surgery. I was out walking her in that chair. We was in the book store and I stood for over 30 minutes without my knees or lower back hurting me.
I have been driving everywhere for the past 2 days and the truck is a stick, so I have to use the clutch, but my knees did not hurt me at all.
I took my friend through roads where my relatives just to live back in the woods, and I went to the graveyard where my father and grandmother are buried. The first time I had been there since my grandmother was buried over 4 years ago. I know this sounds stupid but I stood between their graves and told them both about my surgery and my weight loss and I knew that they would be proud of me.
I have come a long way in the past 2 years, because I could not even go down to her grave all this time. I am also talking with my family, aunts, uncles and cousins now on the phone and in person. I could not be around them for the longest time because it hurt so bad inside me because of her being gone. She raised me, and was my mother and the last link to my father. There will never be another person on this earth that encouraged me, supported me, and loved me no matter what I done, even the bad things. Her and my father were the 2 most important people in my world as a child, teenager, and a young adult. I have my sons now, but I have to be the parent like my father and grandmother was to me. Sorry for this post being so long.

A deep longing accompaniedby the deepest Love some days. The heavy fog mayreturn and the next day, it may recede.Once again, it's...

I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
