Met with the dr., dietician, and the rest of the team today. Had my EKG, chest x-ray and blood workup also. I am having laproscopic RYN. My surgery date has been set for Sept. 22. I had a lot of previously planed activities for that week, but came home and cancelled them all. I didn 't want to put off surgery. Can't wait to get it over with. This whole process hasn't taken too long. I attended the seminar in June. Fortunately my doctor doesn't require me to go thru the 2 week liquid diet prior to surgery. Keep me in your prayers please. I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
