I started fresh in the last couple days so I am back to basics.
I find myself grazing my way through the day so I becide to start my day with protien.
Now usually I always have great stuff in the fridge so that shouldn't be a problem.
I chose a small piece of steak and cooked up and egg with low fat cheese and spinach (microwave scrambled)
Nprmally I only have grilled chicken so I decided to get creative with the steak.
Well anyway I digress,
Man was it hard to ge that down, then I was thirsty but we can't drink for at least 1/2 an hour right ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
I couldn't stand it so I popped a small ice cube in my mouth to stop the thirst (my nut said I could have a tiny bit of water after a meal as long as it was a tiny sip) I fiqure an ice cube qualifies.
After this process was potty and time and hour after that I drank 2 full glasses of Crystal light and finally at 11:03 I feel human.
I have been at home on an unrelated matter since my surgery.
I really feel for those that have to actually BE somewhere and have to get through this.
It is still a challage but it's worth it.
Somedays are just rough.
Just sayin....

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Keep up the great work and give that little puppy a cuddle for me.

Congrats for getting yourself back to basics. I think that that periodic adjustment is something that I also will have to do occasionally, justs to prevent myself from falling into old bad habits. Good luck to you.
