How are all of you "older" over 50 people handling the slow weight loss. I am having a real problem and my surgeon says it is because of my age and all the abuse I have done to my body over the years by yo-yo dieting. I had surgery in October and have only lost 40 lbs. I do the protein each and every day and make sure that I get the required liquids. I have an exercise regiment that I follow religiously. Although the weight is coming off, it is a lot slower than my "younger" friends on here are losing. My PCP tells me I am losing at a safe rate because of all my medical problems and to be happy with 10 lbs a month. However, the last two weeks I have lost nothing and it is really starting to make me depressed. Is anyone else out there over 50 experiencing this problem and what are you doing to combat it? Any ideas on how to jump-start the weight loss again?
