So I have my sleep apnea test scheduled for tomorrow night. I have no idea what to bring. I have called and left messages for these people but have not heard anything from them. The doctors office made the appointment for me but didn't tell me if there are any special instructions! I am going to bring my own pillow and blanket so that I will be a little more comfortabel. Hopefully they will let me use them. Do they give you anything to help you sleep? I am such a night person that I am always up late. I think I am going to have a hard time going to sleep. Especially with all kinds of stuff on me and people watching me and being in a strange place.
Also, I am thinking about buying the book weight loss surgery for dummies. Is this a good book? Any other suggestions? Thanks everyone!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I've heard the "dummies" book is a good one.

Generally they clean places on your head and face with a q-tip. Then they attach the sensors with a dab of thick gel/paste (like you'd use to style your hair) - remember this has to stay on all night so it's really sticky. Once it was on I really didn't feel it much at all.
They asked that I sleep on my back, but when it was obvious I was having trouble, they told me (over a speaker into my room) that it was okay to sleep on my side. In the morning they woke me up very gently (again over the speaker). They came in and took off the equipment, then let me go shower in the bathroom I had in my room - like I said it was just like a little hotel room.
Good luck tonight!
