Hey everyone I have met with the surgon today and had to fill out tons of paperwork. today my bloodpressure was very high but that was because of the pain I was having in my knees. I was told that by the time I leave the hospital I would be on a puree diet. I also have a list of vitamins and protien supplements to get. I will be on the pureed diet for 6 weeks i what I am told. I was wondering if I should start sopping for these things now or should I wait. I will not be able to drive for @ least 2 to 3 weeks and I live alone. any dvice would be helpful. Also 2 more nutrition visits and then I wait for a date. Getting a bit nervous hope this is normal.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I hope you have someone who will be visiting at least to give you a hand during those first 2-3 weeks.
Do you have a good blender? I just bought a Magic Bullet and think it will do the trick.
I'll be thinking about you!
I do not want you to go against your Dr's orders, but you will already be facing hibernation syndrome coming on at 3 weeks +or -. Maybe a little more discussion with your dr. about when to start vitamins?
Patchcat:- use your salt shaker...if the boost is too sweet. This is an old baker's trick! It will work temporarily, just don't use too much!
God Bless!
