Hey all... I hope everyone is doing well. Since I joined this group a few weeks ago I find myself just surfing around on this site quite a bit looking at other peoples posts. I ran across Eggface (or egghead) the other day and I tell you some of the recipes that she puts up are amazing. That being said my wife asked me the other day after showing her one of eggfaces recipes that she wanted to start having the family eat more healthy along with me ( I jumped for joy on the inside because food discussions in my family have never ended on a good note after I got back from having the GBP a few months ago. As I am sure some of you encounter, my spouse felt like for a time I was preaching because I was loosing weight and getting healthy and she was still eating out and living her life the same as before... anyways.. I got off key). So... I went looking online for a good post bypass surgery high protein low carb cookbook that is going to be a good starting point for the recipes for my family. What I found was an array of books that claim to be cookbooks all the way down to self-help books. So.. that is where all of you come in. I figured I would put it to my new friends here on the site and see what books, if any, there are out there that are good. I am looking for just a good post bariatric surgery cookbook with recipes. I dont need the 200 pages at the beginning explaining to me the different levels of liquid diets that come after surgery nor do I need it to explain to me what dumping is. I just want recipe Ideas that my wife can tweak and play with so that she is comfortable and so my family can start eating healthier. Thanks for all your help guys... I love you all tons.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
