I know this might sound silly but I am so bad about following up with anything. In Jan of 09 I will be 6 years post op and nobody has ever explained to me about how to get the protein and I know that fills us up. I started another thread about drinking and I drink daily and have gained some weight from it and it is so bad. I read a little from here about protein powder. Can you guys explain to me how it works and does that substitute a meal? Does that keep us full longer and can you help me with some recipes please? How many times a day should I have the drink and meals? I am making an appt with my gbsurgeon this month to have blood work and get on check. I am going to get out and start to walk too. Thanks so much everyone. You are truly all the best. I really need some help to get turned around. I had even stopped taking my vitamins and I am starting to feel zapped and slept last night from 6-10 p.m. and then went to bed from midnight to 11 a.m. this morning. that is not me. HELP!
