After my surgery I developed a vitamin -d deficency. I take prescription strength Vit-D. My vit-D is still low but they consider it within normal limits. I am concerned that my bones are becomeing less strong due to this. You can't absorb calcium without Vit-D. I had my first broken bone ever last year and now my teeth are getting cavities and my fillings are falling out and one of my back teeth that doesn't even have a filling just broke. It cracked and a large piece came off. I take very good care of my teeth and hardly have any sugar since my surgery so Other then loseing bone I can't figure this out. Any one else have these issues.
