I am 5 weeks out and was told to try all sorts of food. Of course I'm eating slowly, chewing well..all of those things. It seems that whatever I have I can only eat 1/2 tsp. before I start getting very uncomfortable pains in the area of the pouch and around my back. Has anyone else had this? I know that portion sizes are supposed to be small, but at 1/2tsp it doesn't even seem worth it to cook. My nutritionist said at this point I should be doing 1 oz. of protein with 2tsp of veggies and a little fruit. That seems like a feast! I haven't lost anything in 3 weeks, but I don't eat a normal portion with all my meals put together. Thanks for any help you can offer!
