I was told as I lose more weight, the bones in my knees will have less pressure on them and therefore will leave more room for play inside the joint area. There is, and now I have that bone moving more and has become more painful. My Dr. wants to do something with them in a year. I assume because of the major surgery I just went through I will need to become more stronger. I have been toughing this situation out for years. Ever since somewhere in my forties, As with any problem time isn't helping, and now I get real pain in the left outer bone from the kneecap area. Most of the time I try not to take pain med. But sometimes you just have to givein. Today is one of those days. I still get up and try to walk. Getting up now has become alittle more challenging now as I have to figgureout which way as to not disturb that bone somehow. Getting older can be the Pitts.I see my Dr. on Sept 17th I will tell him how this is going, but I doubt if he will be of much help at this time. He knows that I can't take strong pain meds, like I was on(800mg Ibuprohen) that I could take upto 3x a day. but I must preserve my new stomach now.I must get more weight off so when I can have knee surgery, I will be able to get around hopefully on it easier. How many of us are where I am right now? I woreout my joints before their time due to all the weight I carried on them. Now it's payback time.

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
