I am 11 weeks post op and starting to add regular foods back into my diet. At this time, I know almost immediately when a certain food will not agree with my stomach. The challenge is that I can't usually vomit for several hours and I am miserable waiting. It feels like it gets stuck and I have to wait for it to "move". Example, I ate two bites of crab and knew that this wasn't going to agree. Does anyone know of anything that will help the food to move "down" or soothe the stomach. I was told that I cannot take Pepto Bismol or Alka Seltzer. I am going on a cruise and I just want to be prepared to deal with this if it occurs. Thanks.
