I've heard alot of people on here talk about how they can't stand the taste of the protein drinks after the surgery. I have no problem with them, yet. But what I do have a problem with is the liquid vitamins I've been taking....even opening the bottle makes me gag. I don't know what they put in there to "flavor" it, but it is sweet but gross all at the same time.
Does anyone have an advice on the kind of vitamins they take, liquid or otherwise?
Thanks!
Nicole

I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...

I haven't known of anyone that had to take liquid vitamins, but you should talk to your surgeon about it. Maybe they will clear you to try some of the chewables or something else that doesn't make you gag.
My Doc okay'd it, he said I could cut/break them if I needed to, but I found the sharp edges were harder to deal with then the size.
Look for Citracal Petites. if you try this route. they are almost half the size of a regular calcium pill, and MUCH easier to swallow!
Whatever you do, don't quit taking your supplements!!! find a way to take them NO MATTER WHAT!
God Bless!
