Today i had a bad experience, i am 7 mos post op and have been very successful with my weight loss. This morning i had an egg, slice of cheese and one slice of toast, a very modest breakfast around 10am, i headed to the mall with my daughter and had a south beach bar around 12:30, around 2pm i got so light headed, i felt like i was going to pass out (let me say that i use to have issues with hypoglycemia (sp) when doing other diets) so its not something i am unfamilar with but hasnt happened to me since WLS. I had to go to Burger King of all gross things and ordered chicken nuggets just to get some protein in, nasty gross greasy chicken nuggets. i usually have something in the car (nuts, bars) but didnt. Scared me really bad because I had to drive and had my daughter with me, has this ever happened to anyone else, how do you avoid? hope this is the last time... i cannot skip meals and havent for this reason i guess today i should of had a real lunch.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
