Hi all! I just wanted to see if anyone else has had issues with their joints or muscles after losing a lot of weight?? I had bypass in 11-2006, lost a total of 115lbs (was 255 now 140) and have noticed that I'm having more & more problems with my joints. My ankles hurt more and I'm having alot of issues with my hips. I recently went to the dr. and they did an x-ray and found nothing wrong w/ the bones. Hoping that they will do an MRI to look further! I am still waiting to see if maybe i have a vitamin deficiency (recently added Vitamin D on top of Biotin and Prenatal), but i just don't understand how losing weight can make my body hurt more?!?! I really want to work out, but running on the treadmill or even jogging for that matter is out of the question because my hips feel like they are literally going to give out & I'm going fall. Even walking long distances causes me pain... On a good day, I can get about 15-20 minutes in on the treadmill before they've had enough...If you guys have had any experience with this or have suggestions, they are GREATLY appreciated!!
