Oh my goodness was I sick! I got camphylobacter, and we think its the water supply coming into our house, so we have to treat that! I can't believe how sick I got! I had no clue what someone with a food born illness went through. And I have no clue how long it'll take me to fully recover either! I was on Zithromax for 3 day, now I'm on Bactrum for 10 days. After they did a sensitivity test on the culture they had, they found out Bactrum would wipe this out. But my gosh. How long does it take to fully recovery? I'm still a little tire, my bowels are no where near normal (they are improved in that there's substance, but its still totally diareah and has been for a week and a half now!--and its not as frequent anymore, so at least improvement is in sight), and I have a dull headache on and off yet. I'm sick of feeling sick. I go to my surgeon's office for a recheck middle of next week, so if I'm still feeling draggy like this, I'll make mention of it. I have never had something make me feel so draggy for so long! Anyone ever had a food born illness that's drug you down for this long? I just don't know what to expect of this recovery. All I know is I'm sick of feeling like this.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
