I am a newbee here. I'm going to my seminar on Monday! What I need/want to know...let's see where do I start. I know I will get a lot of information at the seminar but I thought I would get a head start. Do you have to eat like this for the rest of your life? Chewing to oblivion before swallowing, not drinking during your meals, taking a long time to eat, only eating a couple of tablespoons of food at each meal, restricting what you eat? I already know I won't be drinking anymore diet soda because of the carbonation...and I am willing to do whatever it takes! It's just inquiring minds have to know and I would rather know now so I can get used to the idea and perhaps giving up some of those things now so it won't be such a shock after surgery. I just want to be armed with as much information as I can so I don't fail. Thank you for all your advice. After all..who better to tell me than those of you who are already walking the path in front of me. I can't wait to be healthier and happier!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
