How to get through the pre-operation diet

deleted_user
Hi guys Help,
I have been on the preoperative diet since 18/10/07, I am only allowed:-
6 x 220ml weight watchers soup
2 pints semi skimmed milk
2 x multi vitamins
As much water as I can take in
a day and still have till the operation day of 6/11/07. If this is what it is going to be like after the op I have started asking if this is what I want. I have noticed that my bloods are going down ( I am a type 2 Diabetic) so this is good. I am trying to keep myself busy by putting a bathroom in this week, and staying away from the kitchen hard when you are the one that cooks for the family. How have other people gotten through this part of the process and did others have the same doubts?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Keep your eye on the goal, you'll make it! I do have to admit chuckling to the no food vs. being the cooking person in the house! That was my first discussion post!! The end to it was, I discussed it with my hubby and he was more then happy to take it over for a while! Good Luck!
God Bless!
