Can't believe I'm even asking about this one.....however, HELP! While getting discharge instructions after surgery a week ago it was mentioned at the very end that I should be aware of something. I was advised that due to the liquid diet there may come a time where I might think I'm having gas and fart but it will come with a big surprise......liquid poop without any warning. Ok, I heard them loud & clear, didn't think too much about it....until last night. All I can say is thank the Good Lord I happened to be home in privacy. So far now it has snuck up on me twice. My husband thought I needed a lobotomy before I signed up to have GBS (he can't imagine being re-routed but he is so supportive) so he thought this was hysterical. That made one of us. Anyway, who else went through this......and HOW LONG does this phase last? Gee, they don't mention this pre-op, do they???! THANKS!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
