i got my surgery done on October 2nd. does anyone think that it would be too soon to go to an amusement park and get on the rides?? i feel perfectly fine but i don't want to do anything crazy. any advice would be appreciated. thanks!

I was told to take It very easy until my 6 weeks were up and my stomach was healed. I was very careful not to do anything that cause leakage of the stomach. An amusement park might be a little too much too soon. I would check with my doctor's office.

It really depends on how you feel. If you are healing well, and have no incision pain, then go for it!

I think I would agree with TJMoot -- would be best to check with your surgeon's office-- some rides probably would be okay- but might want to stay clear of the really jerky rough ones.. just logically thinking-- but the choice is definately yours to make!
