I found an old favorite in the freezer of the grocery store: chicken stuffed with broccoli and "cheese sauce". It's breaded, and I'm sure there are at least a dozen other reasons this should be a "no-no", but I enjoyed every single bite anyway. I refused to read the package, or I wouldn't have enjoyed it nearly as much :p A bit of pepper is all the generic version I bought needs to make me think it's perfect.
The box contained 4 servings, and a single serving alone was plenty for a full meal for me. I used to eat 2 and a side! I can't figure out why now, when even at my heaviest 1 plus a side should have been enough... must have been the taste. I couldn't even touch anything else after one of those stuffed chicken pieces!
I know, I know... I could make a healthier version that is just as delicious (or more so) if I went through the hassle, It just seems like too much work for just one person. If my mom likes it, I might find a recipe then and try making my own. Of course, she will want sides and goodness only knows what else!

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
i envy you on the chicken.. before surgery I had chicken about 5 nights per week... now my body cannot do it... I still try from time to time but I get SOOOO sick, every time.. not worth it........it will be a LONG while before I try it again....... heck, I may become a vegetarian as I can't handle most meat.
Now FYI as you develop, consantly seek more and more protein. It is your savior. If you start eating to much a little to easy, eat more heavier protein first. Don't sweat
the little shit. Just be wise and you'll be just fine.
I love that you know what works just always find as
much protein. But never sweat a good meal you don't puke!
Good luck I love your attitude, you'll be just fine i can hear it in your words!
