I have a love for Garlic and since WLS (10 months ago) I have problems eating it. Last night my Best Friend made dinner for me with a lot of garlic and before I knew it I was doubled over in pain. It felt like I was being stabbed in the stomach with a knife and my stomach on fire. I couldn't walk by myself and had to have my friend help me get into bed. The pain was really bad and to the point I almost went to the hospital. Has anyone ever been through this or know why this happened to me? I would like about this. Thanks.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
