Feeling sorry for myself already on day 4

Boy, it's only been 4 days and I actually feel great though I haven't gotten the hang of drinking my water in the right amount. Keep getting gas pains almost immediately after taking 2 or 3 mouth fulls of propel.
Yesterday and now today I'm already questioning my decision. My husband is eating regular food, as he should, and here I am with jello and water and chicken broth. What have I done? He had rolled tacos the other night, had ribs the next and tonight he's making chili. I had to go upstairs to get away from the food. I really believe I'm having food separation anxiety. Hoped I wouldn't get it so soon. I've been through the liquid diet and did okay on that but this is different.
I did figure that when I can eat real food I can make my own rolled taco with 1 corn tortilla, some chicken instead of beef, cheese and avocado and then not fry it. That should be okay instead of the 5 rolled fried ones I used to eat.
I know this isn't forever and my son-in-law told me today that when I've lost some weight and start feeling better my mind will also catch up with the good feeling. I've already gone from taking 5 medications for type-2 diabetes to taking 1/2 of the daily dose for 1 and only 1 other. That's great and I should count my lucky stars.
I know, just hang in there and it will get better and probably easier.
Thanks for letting me sound off. Doesn't help me feel better but at least I can put it into words.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I am now almost 3 weeks PO and I know exactly where you are. I still am asking myself that at almost 3 weeks, but it does get better.
I still have gas and burp a lot. I am not sure if that ever changes??? I am drinking my protein and enjoying sugar free, fat free pudding or yogert and I am addicted to sugar free popsicles. Warm stuff like broth helps with the gas.
hey but the best part is that I am down 20 pounds in 20 days and almost 50 since I started my journey and that feels geat.
Hang in there, it will all be worth it (I say with confidence) in the end.
Anyway, it does get better. I swear. And yes, you will be able to have what your husband eats. I am not so sure about the ribs. I have made and eaten chili, and fajitas. (I cant eat it the traditional way yet- I still need to dissect it... but thats OK for now. I am here if you need me.

You said when you drink you are getting gas pains almost immediately. Try cutting the size of your sips see if maybe that helps. I've been told this is a real hard thing to remember!
God Bless!
