So surgery is on Monday and until yesterday I am feeling just fine about everything and then this morning I am just shaking and terrified of the prospect of both surgery and life afterwards. Does everyone have a period of this or am I just nuts? The whole "what if" thing is going on in my head and I am just having a hard time dealing. I can't believe that I went from just fine to feeling like this right now. I need the surgery, and I'll do it, but how do I get my emotions in check to go along? Anybody else have this last minute freak out? I have tried all morning to stay busy, but I just can't stop thinking about it. How do you handle your anxiety?
