I am to have my surgery and am trying to lose 26 lbs before. I am doing all the right things nutritionally but the walking and exercise thing is hard. I have arthritis in my lower back and hips and in my upper back. I can only walk for about 10 minutes at the time so I try to do that 4 times a day. I live way up in the mountains so going to the gym is out for now. I am using some hand weights which should help the arms but I am at a loss of what else I can do until some weight comes off and relieves some of the pressure on the joints. Any suggestions?
