I had my surgery on 6/13/08 at 7:30am.I was on liquids by 9:00p.m the same day. I was sent home on 6/14/08, once they saw that I could tolerate pureed foods. I was on soft foods 1 week later, and now being 1 month out, I am now on regular foods (high protein, low to no carbs). I have only lost 24 pounds, but I follow all of the directions of my doctors. I haven't read anyone else say they were sent home so soon, or any simularities in the foods. I walk 2 miles every morning, take all my vitamins and protein. What am I doing wrong? I can't eat much at all, maybe 3ounces per meal. Maybe it's just not meant for me to lose weight. I have all the scars to say I had the surgery, but not the results so far. Please encourage me.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
