Hey Everyone! I had a question and wanted to see if anyone knew the answer. I am six weeks post-op today but I am having some cold/flu symptoms. I went to my local pharmacist and he said that as a WLS patient, I am now the exception to every rule and he was not sure on how to direct me for OTC meds. Does anyone know if it's safe to take, or what we shouldn't take? I was looking at the liquids of course instead of worrying about pills. I also called my surgeon but they were closed! Any advice or experience would be helpful....I feel pretty lousy!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
