A couple of days ago, I tried taking my crushed medicines again, but had the same bad reaction as last time-dry heaving, the sweats, nausea, etc. Ever since then, inside my belly button and slightly around it feels like someone is sticking a lighted match to my skin. It isn't too unbearable throughout the day, but if I sneeze, cough or apply some pressure, it makes me scream out in pain from the strong burning sensation. To look at my stomach, nothing visually looks any different than before. I went to my surgeon today and he can't figure out what is going on, but did rule out a hernia. I do have an incision right above my belly button, but it seems to affect my belly button more than my incision. Has anyone experienced this before? If so, what in the world is going on?
