Ever since my gastric by-pass surgery 5 weeks ago, my family has been telling me that my breath is very bad. I brush and use mouth wash regularly, but even immediately after doing this, my breath still isn't fresh, like it used to be. I have recently tried the toothpaste and mouth wash for dry mouths (Biotene), thinking my dry mouth might be the reason for this, but it hasn't solved my problem. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, what helped? I am a teacher and very self-conscious (for good reason) when I am working with my students one on one.
