Okay so I just need to get this or these off my chest (lol) I have lost 150lbs and NONE of it is in my chest area. I have this horrible pain in my back and it is because my now smaller body is having imense problems supporting the watermelons on my chest. I can not sit straight and the knots in my back are horrific, if I stand sideways you can actually see them protruding out of my back. Has anyone else experienced not losing any weight there? Does it eventually start to come off there to? Gee I hope so, I know that sounds wierd but I don't want to have to go in and get them reduced if I don't have to so I am hoping they will shrink. LOL anyways I just needed to vent since I am in horrible pain right now. Thanks for listening.

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...

Now here is the kicker! After WLS that is the FIRST place I am loosing it?!?!?!
I always thought that I would have to get a reduction after loosing my weight but now I am thinking I will need an implant!
So don't give up hope, you may loose them... I did and THANK GOD! But the saggy flaps of skin with a nipple at the end of it is a little disturbing too LOL :)
I don't think that Christine meant what she said in any sort of hurtful or negative way. I think she was just pointing out that those of us with Girls who are now flapping at our knees might wish that we had bigger ones to start with.
I think having already lost 150 pounds, and none coming from that area already, it's pretty safe to say you are stuck with them at that size. How much more weight do you have to lose until your goal weight? If it's alot, then maybe some will come off from the chest area. But if you're almost at goal? I'd maybe start looking into alternatives, like perhaps a breast reduction?
I totally think that insurance would cover a breast reduction for you, Niki. I used to be an insurance adjuster at a health insurance company and we covered breast reductions ALL the time. Especially because you are in all of this pain. Just document, document, document. And then have your doctor submit a pre-determination. I bet you will be approved in no time!!
The best of luck to you and keep us updated!!
