Bit about me, I was dx by my GI doc with NASH (nonalcoholic steatohepatitis) about 8 months ago and was told to loose weight and keep it off. Well, I am 33 and have been heavy my whole life . I have lost weight, but am putting it back on, story of my life. My GI doc told me 8 mths ago that if I do not loose the weight I could develop cirrhosis of liver and possibly need a liver transplant 10 yrs or so from now, SCARY thought. So here I am, have been researching surgical options for about month or so and have been listening to all of you and your great entries. I will be going to a seminar Sept 12 at the hospital to learn more and will discuss with my GI doc in 1 week, but long story short wondering if anyone else has been diagnosed with NASH and did GBS help with NASH?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
