I started this journey six months ago,surgery was suppose to have surgery tomorrow and was delayed until the 16th(doctors office messed up with the paper work). Now as the day approaches I am wondering if I am doing the right thing.I am 26 years old and 279lbs,I realized that my weight prevented me from doing many things,travelling,shopping hanginf out with friends and things I want in the future, kids. I know deep down inside I am doing the right thing but I cant help just wondering....Many dont understand the reason as to why I am doing this but deep down i know I am limiting what I can do by carrying this weight around...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
