I ended up back in the hospital last week for dehyration. Got a little bug and it took it out of me. While I was there I had a roomate who was 3 years post op and was having terrible stomach pains, and hadn't been able to eat or drink without severe pain for 6-8 days. She told me that she had had adhesions before and had to have surgery to fix them, but they didn't know if this was adhesions again, or something else. I know that adhesions are scar tissue, but has anyone had to have surgery again, to fix adhesions? I am kind of worried about this. Is it common?? Or is this woman just very unlucky?
