Are you using your own treadmill or going to a gym? My gym membership starts tomorrow. I want to do 15 min on the treadmill, 15 on a bike, and 15 on an ellipitcal. I'll work up from there, but hopefully with doing all three, I won't get bored :)

You're only five days PO, so don't push it too much just yet. Remember, you're body will need a lot of rest to heal.

Hopingtolose, since I live in Canada, Montreal, it gets pretty cold here. I did't want to have to go to the gym right away so I bought a treadmill know that after the operation I would get good use. I put my gym membership on hold until May. I don't see myself going out in the cold to walk 15 minutes to only come back from the cold. Yes, i hate the cold! lol! But don't let me discourage you,if i hadn't purchased the treadmill, I'd be doing the same exact thing you are doing?

Such a great attitude towards it all Allen!! It will make a difference for sure. I'll cross my fingers for us both that the weather warms up soon!!

    I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
