I had laproscoptic... anyone's incision still hurt.... or be sore.. the large one where the big instrument wen is still sore... any suggestions?

We had surgery same day and NONE of my incisions hurt, nor have they for weeks. I think you might want to mention this to your doctor ... maybe something underneath isnt healing properly???? Chances are its nothing ... but my "chances are its nothing" landed me in the ER a couple weeks ago, girl ... so I am not playing around with my new body and rearranged insides anymore! :)

Are you having a three-month post-op check-up? If so, I'd ask about this. I was only sore for the first two or three weeks after the operation. I was told one of the incisions was still a little sore at that time because they had to do a subcutaneous stitch there. Did you have something extra done in that area like that? Otherwise, not sure.

Yes I had A STITCH there too !!! I go March 16th Ill have to mention it.. thank you !!!

I think I would call and just ask.. I am 2 months out.. had bronchitus the first week home. Pulled a muscle from coughing... then had a stricture last week... and I have NO PAIN from any incision.. I think your body might be trying to "talk" to you. While I was in recovery the nurse noticed one of my incision we still not completely healed.
(doesn't hurt any) But she dragged my surgeon in the recovery and asked him to look at it.. he is SO Nice & good looking... he said it was fine... after asking did it bother me at all.. I told him the truth it doesn't hurt any.. but I have maybe picked at the scab a little.. advice was use a antibotic cream and leave it alone. SO I haven't picked at it.. just like a kid here.. picking at a scab. But I would called them as soon as possible.. they may want you to come in earlier.

I don't think I'd wait until March to check it out. You shouldn't be sore this far post-op. Give the surgeon's office a call tomorrow.

    I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
