Just got home from my 3 month check up. I have lost 49 lbs post op and 61 lbs pre-op for a grand total of 110 lbs! I feel great and am loving my new life. during my pre-op consultations, my surgeon discovered a large mass on my left kidney resulting in Kidney cancer. In march i had my kidney removed and 2 and a half months later I was cleared for GBS! I have so much to be grateful for...My surgeon even stated that my looks have greatly changed and he was not only talking about the weight loss...I am truly healthy and I feel it! wish I would have had the knowledge and courage to do this years before! Going to live my life to the fullest

I have my maxed amount of epidural shots of my cervical DDD....(and no one cares about my lumbar DDD)..... I've done physical therapy, muscle relaxers, Amitriptyline, Nortryptiline, desipramine.....narcotics... So I decided to go to a spine specialist and they have me on Gabapentin. Its been two weeks and it did nothing for my lumbar ever... but it did seem to help my cervical and arm/hand pain...
