Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
Keep up the great work. Do it for yourself!
I am always saying I am a believer in NOT weighing too often. Fact is , if we do well, we may give ourselves permission to eat something we shouldn't. If the scale doesn't show us what we want to see, it can ruin a day, and send us back to the frig. No thanks.
You know what you need to do. The weight WILL come off, but so too, will we have to deal with plateaus.
I even had a 2# weight gain last month...for reasons I'm not quite sure of...but it was the first in the almost 2 years of my journey. I was able to brush it off...fairly fast...LOL...and got back to the business of good choices.
You go girl...on your way to goal!
the scales can be a demon or an angel lol
