Hi, I am new to this group. I am scheduled for surgery on 10/30/08 pending obviously my insurance authorization. Friday I got a list of all the appointments they set up for me. I have to go to the pulmonoligist and possibly for a sleep study, then to a wellness center and an RD, then for an upper GI. Out of all of these things I am most nervous about the psych eval because I am bipolar and have a history of binging and purging. For those of you who have been through the process can you explain what it's like? Also, I have to take medi-fast for 8 weeks... does anyone know anything about that too?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips.
