Gas-X for sure. It has been a life saver for me. My surgeon recommends two after every meal.

If you take them after meals will it help with the next meal? Can't eat more than a bite without problems????

2 every meal is super expensive

I've had a lot of problems with this as well. I've tried Gas X a couple times...but it hasn't been real successful for me. Has it been working for you?

I have never used gas x but I do know that after 6 weeks post op I cant eat very much or even much variety because I get sick or feel sick after only a bit or two. I chew it to the point of nonexistance but that doesnt seem to work either.

I don't get gas at all, but I have been burping my head off, It can be a little embarassing. I didn't know people could hear it because i keep my mouth closed, but I told my hubby I was finished eating and he said "I know I heard you burp" LOL I guess I am not as stealthy as I thought I was. I get a tiny burp or two when my pouch wants no more.

Thank god this is not jus t in mind. I was told Maalox helps and that is what they gave at the hospital and it did seem to help. I am 12 days post-op and I feel totally full when I eat and that is after maybe 2 bites and I am so afraid of vomiting I just stop eating. Thanks for letting others know this is a problem.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
