I have tried many diets and failed, which leads me to having WLS I have already started the process of my Journey 1st I had to get the referal from my pcp which I did then I went to the dietition have to see her for 6 months this is my Third month now. I went to the Key program and now I am waiting for my pysc eval. After that I guess I am to meet the Surgon Oh and somewhere in there I am waiting for aproval from my insurance. I was told that my insurance is very good and will pay. My insurance is through the hospital where I work. I am a bit nervous about this and still a bit lost. Tell me, am I going in the right direction as far as doing all that has to be done?

Absolutely! You are off to a running start. This is a great place to ask questions, keep a journal to keep up with things that are happening. I started when I was just in the beginning of the journey and I had some setbacks, but I can look back at my journal entries and see how it all unfolded. Also people can read and learn from them, give you support or just check in to say hi! Welcome and never hesitate to ask questions. In this process of approval I suggest you keep good notes and proof so you can make a good case to insurance. I was approved on my first request, but I did a lot of work to have everything I needed and then some.

So far so good. YOur medical team should guide you along the way. It seems like insurance companies get a little iffy if you gain a ton of weight before that. Good luck. I had excellent insurance, and it was throught the hospital I work at. GOOD LUCK!

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
