Well I had my follow up scope today. I had another stricture, but not as small as the first one. So they ballooned me a little bigger this time and are hopeful that this will be the last that I will have. It feels so wonderful to having the good ole pouch working the way that she is supposed to. :) Throwing up gets so old...and just really doesn't fit into my schedule LOL.
Yesterday was 6 weeks from surgery. I am down 40 pounds. Excited about the 40 pounds but frustrated that clothes aren't changing sizes. My tops fit better, and my pants are very baggy in the legs and the butt. However, my belly still keeps the pants same size. Looking really dumpy if you ask me.
I took my month pictures today (a little week) and I still can't see what other people see. I still look fat and disgusting...I was really hoping to see some differences in the pictures :( Okay that really sounds like I am whining. Sorry
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. It is supposed to be warm enough that I can get out and walk outside! I can't wait....

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
What concerns me is the self-hatred in your words about looking fat and disgusting. While waiting for your body to change, maybe you should start to be aware of when you mentally mistreat and beat yourself up. If you wouldn't say it to my face about me, don't do it to yourself. Be as nice and courteous and supportive to yourself as you are to others. Learn to be kind to yourself...
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend :)
Now that was funny girl. I'm proud of your success but more proud of your attitude. You are not a whiner in my book, I think you're a winner or a loser forsure.
Keep it up you'll be skinny like
me soon enough!
Love Brett
