The main reason I started gambling was because I was not happy in my marriage and escaped to be in my own little world at the casinos. I have since separated and will be divorced soon. This will be the first holiday season alone (not totally, as my children (adults) will be with me, but as a family). Thanksgiving was painful and I ended up in Atlantic City and lost $1,000 (only, thank God!). I am dreading Christmas and New Years. Although I am sure to be busy on those particular days, the days off surrounding those holidays might prove too much for me. I need your prayers and any ideas on how to stay GF through this difficult time.

What about putting it to the kids, get them to do an intinerary and drag you kicking and screaming to whatever they decide on the itinerary. They could make it their gift to you. Doesn't have to be expensive things. It might make this year easier for them too with a project, 'Project Mum' has a nice ring to it? be well hugs

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
