Heidi, I know how terrible this feels right now, but you are not alone. We've all been through it a million times. The thing is, you need this feeling. It is your friend. Don't push it away. It is ok to feel this pain for a couple days. In fact, you need to remember how terrible this disease is and how you never, ever want to feel this again. My therapist tells me if we continue to practice changing behavior, eventually it will "stick" and become less painful. Right now it is painful to stop playing, painful to play ... an endless cycle of pain. But Heidi, you can change the cycle. Help yourself out by setting the roadblocks and the rest will get easier in time.
