I feel like I should really go to GA, and am planning on attending a meeting. That said, however, I am not sure about all aspects of the program. I know I need to quit going to the casino, because that only brings frustration and grief. Honestly sometimes it still can be fun. But I take it to extremes, and ruin things. Anyway, getting back to my point, the thing about GA is I don't want to get too extreme. I don't have a problem with ~for example~football pools. If I go to GA I know they will tell me I can never participate in this. I don't have a problem with Bingo, or scratchers, honestly though I wouldn't care about having to never play Bingo or scratchers again. I guess it is the football pool thing. I belong to a pool where I pick the teams every week [during the NFL season], it is online and not for any money. But it is a lot of fun. Also I like Super Bowl pools. Just buying a square or two. Also, once a year we go to the horse races and bet like $2 a race, usually about 8 races.I think that would be out as well. I just guess I am wondering, if this is not my "problem" why do I have to stop that as well. I know no one will probably answer this tonight, by the time I am planning to go to the GA meeting [in about an hour], but just wondered what other people in DS think.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...
I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
