Remember Tash, we here need you as much as anyone, we rely on each other here to ourselves accountable. I find that even though I have never met anyone from this site, that I have sat next to them at a machine and never knew they needed help, and hoped than did not see how much I needed it. I really got sick, now I am working on getting well -- at this site we help each other. Just keep coming back, hugs

Just quit today and then tomorrow, quit again. It gets easier. Find other things, that are good for you, to occupy your time. Check out activities at your church. Volunteer. Do something for someone else. Focus on one day at a time. We are all here for you.

The only real way to win at gambling, is to not gamble. Just do it one day at a time! It makes us a winner every day that we don't gamble.

The thing that seems to be working for me is that I hit rock bottom. I mean, what can be worse than losing every penny you own and having to sell things to buy the necessities like food, clothing, etc? But through it all I have hope that there's light at the end of the tunnel. It's the only way I can go on. You might want to ask yourself this: Are you tired of feeling bad all of the time? There has to be a better life out there somewhere. We can learn to be in control of own lives and with the help of others we can do this and become gamble-free. Just think of yourself in a year or two telling everyone this: "I DID it!! I am GAMBLE-FREE!!" I am sooo looking forward to that day!!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
