I just found this site looking for help/support to stop the crazy cycle. I can't count the times I said I'm done gambling and promised myself that I would stop. I want to start recovery and stay committed to the process, Why are the urges to chase losses so strong and how do I fight off those feelings and anxiety. Will they ever pass so I can move on to sanity? I have never joined a support group, but I realized that taking on this problem alone has not worked in the past. I'm hoping that the discussions here will help me realize that I'm not alone in this.
