Hello, I just found and joined this group b/c I wanted to share some very important information with you! I usually participate in the fibromyalgia support group. I had gallbladder disease since Jan. 2006 and just had surgery in Jan. 2008 to have it removed. I found out through my own research, (patient itinerary and Yasmin website, google searches, and FDA) that BIRTH CONTROL CAN CAUSE GALL BLADDER DISEASE. I asked two surgeons, a general practioner, an internal medicine dr., and a gastroenterologist if they had heard of this problem. They ALL said NO. But I called the Yasmin contact number and spoke with a rep. who started a case for me and she said my claims are legitimate. Coincidently, I know several other women that take birth control and had their gallbladders removed and they had no idea. ALL CONTRACEPTIVES, NOT JUST YASMIN, CAN CAUSE GALLBLADDER DISEASE. If you take birth control and have developed gall bladder disease, please research this, read your pamphlet that comes with your pills, and consider reporting it to the FDA so they can conduct more research in this area. Please respond! I want to set up a website to spread awareness on this topic. I have suffered for too long and I want to help other people protect themselves from this problem!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
