Hi! This is my first post on this board.
I am having the following symptoms:
*Nausea after eating
*Frequent diarrhea
*Indigestion/gas
*Pain/discomfort in right upper quadrant and back
*Headaches, especially above my right eye
I went to the doctor with these symptoms, and she suggested I may have gallstones. I had my ultrasound yesterday, and it appeared to me and to the tech both to be clear of stones. I have to wait for the official diagnosis from a radiologist, but I have become very disheartened, because I am just not feeling well and I was hoping that gallstones were the answer.
The US Tech suggested that I might have another test, a HIDA Scan, to see if my gallbladder is just not funtioning correctly. If my US comes back normal and my doctor does not suggest this test, I am going to insist on it.
To those of you who have had gallbladder diseases, do my symptoms sound like my gallbladder is the problem?
Thanks so much for your help!

Please do get the scan. A year ago they did not see my gallstones but recently found that I do have them. I have lived with those symptoms for a year now and finally they are going to remove my gallbladder.

I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
